Warm Story | A Smiling Angel Fighting Against Disease

Xiaohua, a spirited boy not yet three years old, resides in an orphanage where his circumstances have been particularly challenging. Born with Down syndrome, congenital heart disease, and pulmonary hypertension.

He has fought a continuous battle against illness from day one. Despite these adversities, his small body exudes tenacious vitality. Whenever he meets someone, Xiaohua beams a smile, as if expressing gratitude to the orphanage and the caring individuals who have given him a second chance at life, sharing warmth and love with everyone around him.

In late August, during the routine temperature check for the children, Xiao Hua’s reading unexpectedly soared to 38 degrees Celsius.
