That’s so Embarrassing !! Sex Ed … It is a secret but can be told
To a 10 year old,
sex education can certainly feel embarrassing.
But really, it’s not a laughing matter.
Sex Health Education is an important part of education for our children
so that they can understand their bodies and protect themselves.

On October 26th,
UFCH led an educational to our longtime partner organization, Power Baseball.
In 3 separate classes based on age and gender,
52 kids were provided sex health education.
The training content included:
adolescent changes for boys and girls;
hand hygiene and safety prevention.

United Family Healthcare’s Nurse Training Program directly supported UFCH by creating the training content and having the new class of nurse trainees provide the onsite training.
Overall it was a highly informative afternoon!
