Care For The Health Of The Elderly Care Workers
March 21 – 22, ‘1000 Women HPV Cervical Cancer Screen and Treat’ charity event jointly launched by United Foundation for China’s Health (UFCH) and Shanghai Women Entrepreneurs Association was held in Shanghai United Family Hospital (Jing An).
With the support of United Family Healthcare, nearly 1,000 women working in elderly care services in Shanghai received free HPV cervical cancer screening and treatment during the two-day event.
A total of 137 positive samples were found in this mission, including 25 high-risk positive samples (type 16, type 18).
UFCH will follow up the pathological test results and further medical consultations of the tested women, and provide necessary medical care to women in difficulty who meet the criteria for relief of UFCH.
