United Foundation for China’s Health was awarded the Model Charity Organization of the Year at the China Philanthropists 2022 Charity Gala.
As a health care relief foundation, UFCH stayed true to our commitment to bring help and healing to those in need.
In 2022, UFCH provided medical care to 556 children and adults in need. Including 105 inpatient visits, 2,159 outpatient visits and 85 major surgeries. As a result, the quality of life of these people improved and they have the chance to return to normal life.
UFCH cares for women’s health and is working to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer in China. In 2022, UFCH integrated various medical resources to promote HPV/ cervical cancer screening and promote knowledge about HPV/ cervical cancer prevention. A total of 3,563 low-income women benefited from the two screen and treat events.
When disasters and epidemics occur, UFCH takes advantage of its medical resources to immediately mobilize medical supplies for vulnerable groups. At a time when the epidemic was severe, UFCH helped deliver chronic prescriptions to the elderly in Shanghai and donated necessary medical supplies to welfare institutions in Beijing.
