Support Han Hong Foundation’s Charity Medical Mission in Longjiang
At the invitation of Beijing Han Hong Charity Foundation (Han Hong Foundation), United Foundation for China’s Health (UFCH) organized a medical expert team from UFH to go to Heilongjiang Province with Han Hong Foundation on August 5th, and provide a 14-day free medical service and cervical cancer screening.
The medical team includes doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and lab technicians from different UFH hospitals across the country.
This mission will go to 10 counties and cities in Heilongjiang. In order to benefit more local women and help them to prevent cervical cancer with a very quick turnaround, UFCH will provide HPV/ cervical cancer screening, education, and medical consultation for women on site at the same time.
Cervical cancer is the only cancer that can be prevented early by early detection, early treatment, and the “self-testing” highly effective screening model used by UFCH HPV/ Cervical Cancer Screening program enables large-scale screening with a very quick turnaround. For many years, UFCH has provided free HPV/ cervical cancer screening and treatment to migrant and disadvantaged women in many places of China, Contribute to China’s Accelerated Cervical Cancer Elimination Program and help disadvantaged groups reduce the risk of “poverty due to disease.”
