Record the HPV Medical Trip in Daming
This August, UFCH brought its mobile clinic to Daming, Hebei. United Family Healthcare (UFH) doctors, nurses and lab technicians from all over China came to support this mission. This mission’s purpose was to help 2,000 women from the Daming area have access to free HPV screening. UFCH’s model helps improve their health and is also a learning experience about the importance of personal health.
Most of the women wake up at the break of dawn every morning and take a 40 minutes drive to arrive at the testing site. Long before the testing starts there is already a long line.
From registration, to self-testing, to doctor’s treatment for positive cases, each step is led by experienced personnel who work hard to help the women.
The medical team discovered that some women had health concerns for years, but lacked resources to get the care they needed. The team was able to provide immediate, onsite treatment for the women and with their compassion, they were able help relieve many women’s worries.
The successful mission highlights how important it is for women to have access to healthcare. And the devoted UFH team gave their expertise and hearts to do what they can do help. In the future, UFCH plans to help even more women have access to testing and treatment. Our goal is to reduce the chance of acquiring Cervical Cancer. United for a healthier China!
